Christie's Passive to Active 3D Converter (PA Converter) offers the ability to utilize digital stereo 3D DLP™ projection from two passive stereo signals.

By converting separate left-eye and right-eye passive stereo information into an active stereo signal, passive stereo imaging can be upscaled to active stereoscopic display through Christie's DLP-driven Mirage series projectors.

Now, existing passive stereo solutions can be projected through a truly digital stereoscopic 3D projector. When quality of display is critical, use of Christie's Mirage series projectors combined with the PA converter guarantees accurate color reproduction, uniformity and image clarity. With Christie's PA Converter, original content can be maintained in separate passive signal format, while capitalizing on the high brightness and faster frame rates of Christie's 3D DLP stereo projectors.
