What does Christie mean by a zero-maintenance design?
Low cost of ownership is a critical factor in our designs. Our video wall display systems don't have consumables to be maintained and their LED illumination is rated for 60,000 hours (compared to mercury-based lamps at only 10,000 hours), providing seven years of continuous operating life with no lamp replacement required.
The high-speed on/off capability of LEDs eliminates the need for a motorised colour wheel in our 1-chip DLP projectors.
With built-in management features that continuously monitor and manage brightness and colour control across the entire display wall, Christie LED-based displays ensure virtually zero-maintenance operation. Finally, there's a control room display wall solution that offers price for performance!

These displays also feature Christie ArrayLOC™, an innovative technology that automatically and continuously matches colour and brightness levels in every cube, across the entire display wall. Quality image performance in high resolution
LED illumination offers a colour range that surpasses traditional display systems. This larger colour range allows for accurate image reproduction for more vivid presentation. With Christie LED-based displays, there's greater flexibility for managing colour space. And the red, green and blue LEDs can be sequenced at rates many times faster than colour wheels, reducing the likelihood of visible sequencing artifacts.
